Construction Safety Services

IHP services include review and/or development of Industrial Hygiene programs for compliance with OSHA regulations including Hazard Communication, Confined Space Entry, Lock Out/Tag Out, Hazardous Waste Operations and Management, Personal Protective Equipment, and Health and Safety.

IHP has extensive experience and expertise in conducting building surveys and hazard assessments. Services include site study, bulk sample analysis, XRF investigations, and bid specifications in compliance with applicable laws. Quality insurance monitoring includes air testing, inspections, and a full documentation package.

IHP provides clients with complete Confined Space Entry services designed to ensure the health and safety of workers and comply with the OSHA Confined Space regulations in general industry (29 CFR 1910.146) and shipyard employment (29 CFR 1915). All atmospheric monitoring is conducted by or under the direction of a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Marine Chemist.

IHP provides experienced professionals with advanced degrees (M.S.) and recognized credentials (CIH) for the management of health and safety at hazardous waste sites. IHP’s health and safety management services are customized to meet the needs of our clients and are designed for compliance with the OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations regulations (29 CFR 1910.120). IHP owns state-of-the-art instrumentation and calibration equipment required for on-site analysis.

IHP services include visual inspections, compliance audits, project management QA/QC during removal and disposal, and development and implementation of remedial action plans.

IHP provides design, project management, and quality assurance monitoring for the clean-up of environmental problems such as underground tanks, lead, PCB’s, asbestos, and other hazardous materials.

IHP provides environmental testing for indoor air quality and mold related issues. IHP also provides investigations to determine the causes of contamination and provides recommendations for abatement.

With proficiency in OSHA regulations, IHP provides consultation, on-site inspections, and written programs designed to identify and minimize physical hazards capable of causing accidents or injuries at building, road, and other construction sites.
